Akakas Logistics Plc has played major parts in logistics executions on big projects, which needed extra care and attention in the planning and transport of complex and heavy equipment, big volume (ship loads) of bulk cargos while always maintaining timely deliveries. A. AID CARGOS (Containerized, Break Bulk, Ro Ro Cargos & etc.)

We have been handling supplies, both regular program and emergency relief, for UNICEF, UNHCR, UNFPA, WHO, UNOPS, and UNDP for nearly 19 years

B. PROJECT CARGOS 

We have been (and still are) serving different construction companies as their freight forwarding agent in Ethiopia. We have handled a great variety in projects :

   •  Telecommunication projects

C. COMMERCIAL CARGOS 

     • Import 
Included under this category are services we provide to large private companies such as Meta Abo brewery (on their expansion project), Giftii Foods & Packaging PLC, Debra Zeit Swine Farm, Coca Cola (East Africa Bottling for two years) and much more. 

     • Export
Our company is the second biggest export cargo mover in Ethiopia. Our company annually handles 4000 x 20 containers of export cargo, destined to different ports around the globe.

D. EMBASSIES
We handle both Import and Export cargos for embassies, diplomatic cargos & personal effect for diplomats. As an example we are serving embassy of the United States of America as one of the few forwarding agents in Ethiopia.

E. AIR SHIPMENT
We deliver best service for both import and export for air freight. In order to facilitate our service we have an office in the Ethiopian Airline Compound.
